Saturday, April 4th @ 5:00 p.m. Update

Dear Sunday School Ministry Members and The New Covenant Church Family,

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!”  “Blessed is

He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the King of Israel!”  John 12:13

“Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, humble, and mounted on

a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.”  Matthew 21:5

On tomorrow, Palm Sunday, we will celebrate Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem one week before His death on the cross.   Those who greeted Him believed that He was the Messiah, the Anointed One sent by God to establish His Kingdom on earth.  Just as in that day the people waved palm branches in anticipation of His coming, we also commemorate Palm Sunday as a day of Worship and Celebration.

We encourage you to begin this day in prayer and study with the Sunday School Ministry and extend a special invitation to each of you to join with us at 8:00 a.m., April 5, 2020.  Our teacher leaders will bring a word of hope through Sunday School Lessons via Teleconference.  Once again, the classes and Dial in Numbers are listed below:

Also, included with this note is the Sunday School Reflection Document for this week’s lesson. We continue to pray for each of you.  Please do not hesitate to respond to this email if you have any questions.

Blessings and peace,

Sallie S. Jenkins and The Sunday School Ministry

Sunday School Reflections

Dear NCBC,

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  Psalm 119:105

Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”  Luke 24:44

We continue to sing praises to God for His bountiful blessings.  Let us be steadfast, diligent, and obedient in our study of the Word of God.  Again, during this period of physical separation, the Sunday School Teachers join with you in this effort through weekly reflections of the Sunday School Lesson.  We encourage you to read the lesson each week; review the Reflection Document; and be deliberate in accepting the message that God is sending today through these teacher leaders.  During this season, we pray that the Lord will protect and give you peace that only He can provide.

As God demonstrated His faithfulness in Malachi 3:6 towards the people of Israel, today we can be assured  of God’s promises to us.

For I am the Lord, I change not: therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.  Malachi 3.6

Peace and blessings,

Sallie S. Jenkins and the Sunday School Ministry

Please continue to take care of yourself and your family. Remember to join us on our ‘Daily Dose of Devotion’ and our Sunday Morning Streamed Services @ 9:30 am.

Good Day NCBC Members,

We need your help. As we begin to make plans for our return to in-person worship, we are asking all members to fill out this six question survey. Click the link below in order to complete the survey. Once you are done we ask you to send the survey link to five NCBC members so they may take part in this process.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we navigate through these times.
